Karen is our Practice Manager. She worked with Dr. Bailey at another local veterinary practice before coming to work for him at NBAH in 1982. She continued employment at our hospital through college while getting her RN degree. For 13 years she worked full-time here and part-time at Fauquier Hospital. Her love of animals started at a very young age and she chose to follow her heart when making her final career choice.
She has been a lifelong resident of Warrenton and member of Bethel UMC. She has many hobbies but loves spending time with her husband, family and menagerie that includes dogs, cats, cockatiels, canaries, goldfish and chickens. Her house has a revolving door for many rescues that are placed through our practice.
Sallie is our lead, Licensed Veterinary Technician. She came to work for us in 1994 and found her calling. She then entered the Northern Virginia Community College Licensed Veterinary Technician program and graduated in 1998. We are fortunate to have our own home grown tech. Sallie and her husband and son share their home with two pug mixes and two cats.
Erin is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and our Occupational Safety Health Administrator. She earned her degree from Northern Virginia Community College in 2005 and worked at two other small animal hospitals before arriving here in 2006. Erin and her husband stay busy with their two children, dog and cats.
Samantha became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2009 and joined our practice in August 2015. She has a passion for rehabilitation and is certified in Equine and Canine Massage. Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, horses and dogs.
Debbie was looking for a change in careers and wanted to work with animals and joined our team in 2001. She is a Veterinary Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Inventory Manager and skilled Cold Laser Technician. Many clients and patients appreciate her calm, kind approach during their laser treatments.
Sue's lifetime love of pets brought her to us in 2000. Her previous experience including working in the arts and teaching. She is a Veterinary Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and handles inventory management. The veterinary field runs in her family. Her daughter went through veterinary school and even interned at our hospital. Sue enjoys spending time with her dogs but the light of her life is her grand baby. Just ask her!
Lisa joined our practice in 2005 from an Alabama veterinary practice and SPCA. She handles our patient accounts, monthly pet reminders and social media updates. In addition, Lisa works at the front desk and is a Pharmacy Technician. She enjoys running, biking, reading, knitting and spending time with her family and dog.
Emma has been a part of the New Baltimore Animal Hospital for many years. She is only with us on a very part time schedule. She lives in the Fredricksburg area with her husband and their six children, three dogs and one cat.
Charlie recently joined the NBAH team. She works in the treatment area and also at the front desk. She is very caring and kind to all animals. Charlie is a lifelong animal lover and resides in the Stafford area.
Sam recently joined the NBAH team. She is a joy to work with, always smiling and very conscientious. Sam predominantly works in the treatment area. She resides in the Bealeton area with her family.
Lisa moved to Virginia from Florida in 1989. She was the President of the South Florida Barrel Racer's Association for two years. She resides in Warrenton with her two dogs and has two daughters and 5 grandchildren. Lisa is a joy to work with and you will see her at the front desk, as well as in patient care. She has a great sense of humor and keeps us laughing.
Emily grew up in northern Virginia and recently moved back from living in New Zealand. She enjoys spending time with her NZ native husband, tiny yorkie-poo, Kiwi, and her two nieces and nephew. We are so glad she is here.
Janet was born and raised in this area. She loves spending time with her family and her dog, Sampson. She also has had many different animals over the years, including aquatic turtles, saltwater aquariums, horses and has assisted with kangaroo and stray dog rescues. You will see Janet at the front desk and she also assists in patient care. Janet is a joy to work with.
